Whittlebury Bakery was born from a desire to produce great tasting bread for our local community. Hand crafted and baked the traditional way using only the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients and without the use of artificial additives or processing aids. We believe good quality, great tasting bread should be affordable for all. Founded in 2017 by Andrew and Ela Collins in the village of Whittlebury, the bakery rapidly gained a loyal following for its freshly made bread, rolls and cakes. Working from a small bakery the products were sold from an adjoining shop. Their reputation grew rapidly and they soon outgrew these premises and the bakery moved to a larger site in Litchborough in 2018. True to their community spirit they kept the shop at Whittlebury and turned the old bakery into a coffee shop. The business continues to grow with new customers joining us every week but we are ever mindful of retaining our core beliefs. To produce great tasting bread, hand crafted by expert bakers, free of chemicals at an affordable price.
