Whole Free Range Chicken

At Fossemeadows Farm they grow their birds slowly and traditionally. The Fosse bird is totally free rangingand grownnaturally in small flocks to a minimum of 81 days. That's three times longerthan standard commercially-reared chicken, and two weeks longer than organic birds. Liek the much-admired French chicken, we use three strains of French breeds and grow them to full maturity. This means our birds havelonger legs, aloowing them to roamand forage on rich, wildflower pasture. They are fed a cereal-based diet that islocally sourced where possible, with no antibiotics, additivesor hormones. Fosse chicken simply has richer and more succulent meat, with stron, nutritionally-rich bones too. Just howchicken should, and used to taste. Whole Bird size range 1.5-2.6kg. Includes giblets.
