Gravel Pit Farm has been built up from scratch over 10 years, and now incorporates the rapidly growing Clipston Egg Company. Annie has over 400 Very Free Range hens - they are housed in barns where they are shut up safe from foxes at night, but during the day can roam freely around a large enclosure. Hens lay their eggs in traditional laying boxes, from where they are collected by hand. They are then sorted and packed on site, again by hand.
