Product Description
In this 2hour workshop Teri will show you how to make syrups from a selection of wild berries. Making syrups from edible wild berries used to form an important part of our daily lives in autumn. Not only did this preserve our precious vitamin rich hedgerow harvests to get us through the winter, they also formed a vital part of our ancestors medicinal toolkit. Following world war II Rosehip syrup used to be commonplace in every household as a rich source of immune boosting vitamin C and it has also been shown to help alleviate arthritis. We will also have a walk around the farm to identify some forager's favourites and re-connect with nature.
